Hi - Brake & Anti-lock Question

I'm new to the forum and have a question regarding brakes and anti-lock on a 91 Dodge W300. Why do the lights stay on? truck has a 5.9 cummins, stays on all the time,as does the anti lock lite every thing seems to work okay! don"t know what to look for? local garage says they can hook it to analizer and tell whats wrong I LEFT.

They come on when vacuum is 8 inches of water or less for 10 seconds or more, IIRC. Also any failure of the system. Search this forum, because this issue is common with our trucks. I am not sure if it has ever been completely resolved and I would like to say that the journey is fun and rewarding, but I cannot......Mark

Something new everyday

This is a new day everyday, 92 D350. So now I have the speed-o, cruse and some electrical work and ready to hit the ANTI-LOCK. So the VAC has something to do with the "anti-lock" and "park brake" lights. My first question is what should the "VAC" be? The plug for the axel VSS was trashed, been looking but have not found one. I am trying to use something close, what's your thoughts?

The sensor on your axle is solely for anti-lock sensing. It tells the module only that the tone ring is rotating. If the plug is the only holdup, I would just clip the plugs off the wires, twist, solder and shrink wrap the wires together.
