In the 89' Diesel Supplement the air intake sensor and engine coolant thermal switch are called "Thermistor". Location A, intake manifold and location B, head water jacket as listed above.

Sorry for the previous confusing about this part!
FINALLY got the right switch!!!! Only took me ordering it three times and probably 8-10 visits to two different parts stores, Dodge Dealer and a Cummins Dealer and several phone calls.
Current Dodge Part Number #5174754AA ~$70
Old Cummins Part Number #3921642
New Cummins Part Number #3408645 ~38 !
Its also called a "Fuel System, Fuel Induction, Diesel Injection Pump, Temp Switch"

Just a little update to hopefully help anyone in the future.
I have ran all over the place ordering sensors, returning them because they didn't work, ordering more. Calling this place and that, just to figure out that the pic and my truck's sensor location are different. My truck has the KSB one in front
The KSB solenoid has 3 pins. The air charge sensor for the grid heaters has 2 pins.

First Picture
1: Grid / Intake heater Relay
2: Grid / Intake heater Relay
3: AC Clutch Relay (Wide Open Throttle Cut Out)
4: Starter Relay
5: Automatic Shutdown Relay
For posterity, the OEM Mopar part numbers are:
3. A/C clutch relay: 4443 907
4. Starter relay: 5600 6179
5. ASD relay: 4443 977
As has been noted, all three relays are identical except for the steel mounting brackets for affixing them to the fender.

Genos garage has that part. Pure Diesel power also has that part. In past posts the OD dropping out has been TPS related. Seems 99.9% the cause.
That TPS is like a $185-$225 item. About two months back, there was a link to fleabay for someone re manufacturing these brand new for like $40. I caught that, and ordered a couple as back up. Search on fleabay for that seller. He lives in a town called Fairfield, CA.
Or, you can find them used. Going rate is $125-$180 for 25 year old sensors.
Yours may just need an adjustment, which they do from time to time. Use the search feature and punch in TPS adjustment, or Throttle Position Sensor. Keep an eye out for that sellers link.

I don't have the part number myself, but I bet I could find it in less than an hour searching on-line. I have always been able to find the OEM or Cummins part numbers with a little research.
