Hello all,

I am looking to replace the tailgate on my 91, as it is throughly trashed. I really like the style of this one here, but I have no idea what year it comes off of.

Anyone recognize what year it comes from + knows offhand if it would fit my 91 ?

Unfortunalty, the shipping cost on this one kills it for me, but I may try to find one locally.

YA... That one will fit... You just have to be careful of the powerwagon tailgates, pre 78.. They have a different locking mechanism.. I just found out the hard way.. I also really like that style you are looking at... That is the same one I am gonna go with

 

That looks like the one that's on my '93 D250 gasser. There are vinyl letter kits that go one the raised letters. Check with the dealer or a body shop supply store for them. Mine is white with red letters.

 

Where are ya located? NJ closer? I have a few.

I heard there was a couple good Dodge wreckers up in the Sacramento area.. Gonna take a look up that way next time I am up there.

That is the same exact tailgate I am looking for! It seems 1st gen tailgates are hard to come by in good condition.

 

anygate from 1980 to 93 will fit the older ones will fit but they don't say up when u hit bumps lol . lost one because of it OOPS...
