Help diagnose this annoying in cab noise..

The sound comes from behind me when I am driving though. It sounds like it comes from right below where the seatbelt mounts to the cab, I think.

Are you wearing the seat belt while this noise is happening? If your not, could be the belt latch hitting on something.

Your profile states you have a hd transcooler. If it is mounted under the cab I would check the brackets to make sure they are tight or do not have a broken weld.

That sound could very likely be trasmitted up from underneath. I have running board (which I notice you do not from your profile pic) and when they lose a bolt they rattle very simulary to that.

It has been recomended that you clean what might be behind the seat, if you haven't tried that, I think that is a primary candidate.

The cooler has been there for about 3 months. The truck made this noise when I bought it nearly 2 years ago.
