Heater switch

Does anyone know if the blower motor circuit goes through the heat or defrost selector switch? Reason I ask is I only have low speed on heat and defrost, no high speed, yet switch to vent and I have high speed. I see that if the switch is on high and you select 'off' the motor speed cuts out so....anyone have a wiring diagram that shoes this?

TIA,

Craig.

have you changed the switch yet ? mine did that 3 time since i bought the truck and each time i changed the switch it stopped but the real cause for the switches going out on mine was a fan motor that was damaged at the factory (had a big dent in the side) i have since changed the fan motor and the proplem has not come back

Hmmm....so your fan would work on high except in heater and defrost mode?
