Just pulled my old heater box apart on my 1st gen build and found mice got in and ate all the foam...made a mess in there....

So I am going to head to the yard and grab a heater box assembly; does anyone know if it can be pulled out of the truck without removing the dash?

Looks like at least the glove box has to come out....

You can tip out the bottom of the dash and get the heater box out.

Thanks, dont want to get stuck in the junk yard pulling a dash if I dont have to. LOL.

Ya it's a awful job but can be done without pulling the dash

But if you are at a junkyard just cut the windshield rubber around each dash screw and yank the dash
