I was playin around in the snow the other night. The turbo barked pretty good. Seems like I have been noticing a little bit more noise from it lately. Is there anything wrong with it? I have been running it for over a year and it's never done that before.

 

I noticed in colder weather there's a better chance of barking. I have found this with my truck (when I had the auto) and a few trucks at work. Denser cold air maybe? How's that sound?

 

I always bark it when I'm screwing around spinning 'em and fun stuff. But I nearly never bark just street driving. Ya just tend to be harder / more abrupt on the throttle. I have to ease off my H1C pretty gentily even with my auto. The poor little turbo is also getting near 33 psi.

 

Probably ought not do that unless you're just into twisting turbo shafts 'n stuff.

Does anyone have a video of what a turbo bark sounds like???

 

Its a 3rd gen but you can hear a couple small barks when he spins it and a good one at the end.
