i've been looking at differnt turbos and came across the bigger version of the holset he351ve (VGT) which is the he431ve anybody know anything about these are they too big for our motors i was just woundering if mabey they might be a good turbo for towing considering you have the VGT turbo i dont think the exhaust housing would be a prob other than mabey an adaptor to make it fit the manifold but i dont know where to find the specs or a map of this turbo if anyone knows anything about these i'd be interesed to hear about it they also have another turbo that is larger the he561ve but i figure they will be laggy and possibly too big for our apps if anyone has any info i think they might be interesting to look into. thanks

 

There's a guy over on competitiondiesel running with one. he seems to like it. I know it takes an adapter on the manifold side, and some sort of control on the VG side.

 

i ordered one... havent gotten it yet. its got a 60mm inducer and 60mm exducer...
i like the he351ve, so this one should be better!

where is that he561ve? and how much is he asking for it? if you dont mind me asking? btw its got a 71mm inducer

 

I don't think he is trying to sell it. There is a guy on comp d that has one on his first gen. He said he was staying on top of it. But time will tell. I think he was using it for a puller. Not so much a DD, but IDK?
I'm also running a 351vgt, I hope you guys are not expecting great things from it. Don't get me wrong I like it and It works ok for what I'm doing but it's not the greatest thing since sliced bread either. But for the price I got it for and what I have into it for R&D it was still cheaper than a 60mm upgrade for my HC1.
