We use Murphy Swichgages and I thought they would be perfect to put in the truck when I redo them. I could set them to set off a buzzer or a light, but they arnt lighted. what do yall think.

Murphy is a high quality gauge, we use then on all of out Standby Gensets and other pieces of unattended equipment.

They will shut the engine down and sound an alarm if the engine looses oil pressure or if it overheats.

I just have not gotten around to put one on my truck yet.

They have saved many unattended engine in the past. We used to install them on irragation engines. Might be an upgrade for the lil Cummins to save an engine when the driver is daydreaming. Back many years ago they didn't have the backlight then either. Haven't changed much have they.

 

yea we use them to shutdown our compressors, bad thing is that we only use pressure and temp.
