Got a wiring problem HELP!

Ok I was driving lastnight and the radio, and all the interior lights went off.
The headlights, gauge illumination, blower motor, windows and mirrors all work. the headlights also went dim like the alternator was'nt running. got it home and turned it off and now it wont turn over at all. seems like the ignition is not getting power but I checked the fuses and they all looked good. Any ideas?

Just checked the fusable links, there is only two on the inner fender right? They all have 13 volts and the fuse box has 13 volts going into it. I think it might be the ignition switch but I dont understand how the windows still work when nothing else does?

The ignition switch has a few circuits in it so it is possible.

So with the ignition in the on position you are saying the windows could work but the stereo and gauges would not? I dont want to buy an ignition switch and have it not be the problem.

How many power wires go into the ignition? Only one in the center or is there more?

Two wires feed the ignition switch. One is red, one is pink & black.

Ok thanks. The red wire to the ignition switch is dead. When I jumper it everything works fine except no cranking, and no click when I try to hit the starter. could all this just be the starter relay?

The red wire coming into the switch gets power from one of the fusible links on the fender. You have a blown fusible link.
