Got an ic core support what intercooler
Well I got a ic core support and what intercooler do I use? I already have s powerstroke intercooler and a stock intercooler and was wondering if I should use the stock one or the powerstrock one I was it to fit good and don't want it to chop to much. What would work best with my current set up?
STOCK would work best, but the PS intercooler fits very nicely, according to what I have seen.
If you want the least amount of work, go stock, if you want the most bang for the buck with minor surgery, go PS.
Mark.

I would go Powerstroke...since you already have it. Once done you would not need to upgrade for more cooling unless you got stupid crazy with your motor. The stock IC would only be good for so long before needing to upgrade...then you have to do it all again anyway.
My vote goes for the PS intercooler. The only trimming you need to do is a little on the core support, the stock intercooler mounts across the bottom and the bumper brackets for it to sit just above the frame. Check out my thread about how I did mine... https://www.dieseltruckresource.com/...l-t294556.html

Now I'll have detailed pics on how to do the install of the PS 'Cooler for the old Carhauler, should I decide to leave it the "1stGen" body style.

Well I'm Going to use the stock one for right now cuz I think my powerstoke intercooler has a leak. I have been looking for a boost leak for a few weeks now cuz with my twins I can only get about 38psi of boost.
