No. Just take the air filter off when it's time to start the truck and make sure the turbo is spinning. If it isn't, shut off the engine and turn the turbo backwards a few turns to clear the chip, then try again. Usually the chips all blow out immediately on start-up.

 

ok sweet cause i wasnt looking forward to pulling that thing off of there......but i guess the good news of the day is that my 5in custom exhaust is on and sounds completly amazing
