Getrag Service Manual Info Needed

Hey fellas. Do any of yall have a 93 DC Service Manual that would be willing to copy the disassembly and reassembly info on the Getrag tranny? I have the 92 service manual, but they dont have any info on the Getrag. Maybe transfer the material into acrobat or fax the info to me? I would greatly appreciate it. I dont have a failure yet, but I would like to have the info on hand. Thanks again guys.....let me know.

Monty

Hey Jay
I could use those pages if you would be willing to copy them for me. I'm just getting ready to put my Getrag 360 back together (with ceramic Bearings to combat heat) and could use the info. winracng@rochester.rr.com

Sounds like a lot of us are interested in these, including me. Can someone make them Acrobat files (or other) and make the available for download from the site? Or, if someone could send it to me I can scan it and email to everyone.

I am still working on the ceramic bearings (the rollers of the brg are made of a ceramic material) . Typicaly ceramic bearings are used when a condition of high speed for long durations and high precision of radial and axial run out is needed (.000050 or less)-yea that # is correct. The brgs used in our Trans have around .0002 or less (which is fine for the aplication), but the ceramic brgs hold up to heat much better. I was susposed to pick some bgrs up Fri but the supplier didnt come through. I am also working on lubricants that will hold up to much higher temps than typical automotive type lubes, might be more expensive but if it saves the trany it's worth it. When I have usable part # I will post them here.

I will be faxing the copy of the manual to Winr tommorrow. I cant post the manual on this site since it is copyrighted material. However, when I fax it to one person, maybe they can send it to another, and so on.
