Getrag to Auto

I've seen all of these tranny conversion threads and I was wondering if anyone on here has swapped a getrag to an NV4500. I've been pondering about this for awhile. What would it take as long as you just put a floor shifter in? Does it require changing driveline? Bolt right up? etc...
thanks

well I changed from the 727 to the getrag and the 727 is about 2.5 inches shorter than the getrag. Don't know about the nv4500.... If you are switching from a getrag to auto, let me know

Okay, now we are all confused.

Do you want to swap in a NV4500 or an automatic??

What is wrong with your Getrag??

Can I have it??

Thanks.

I see that your 2wd so no worries about the t-case. Depending on which auto you get you may need to do some wiring for the OD and or the Lock up torque converter, to go along with your floor shifter. The other thing is you may need a longer or shorter drive shaft. I think it would be easier than going from an auto to a manual.
