Genuine Sanden A/C Compressor

I need a new A/C compressor for my '93. I think these take a Sanden SD709 series which has probably been superseded by an SD7H15 - is this correct?

If so, does anyone have the Sanden model number that I need? I want to find a genuine Sanden so I can actually get more than a few months out of a compressor...

After some searching, a new one might be unobtanium...I sent a msg to Sanden directly to see if they still make these, they will get back to me in 2 business days. This could be next Tuesday...

Maybe a Sanden 4482? would work as a replacement?

It is similar, but is the rotation the same direction, CCW, as the original? I think that I'll ask sanden. In a bit, I'll go outside and see which direction it spins...Mark

Ok I think that the rotation of an a/c compressor is determined from the clutch side of the unit. If that is correct, the compressor on my rig turns clockwise. If that is true, then that compressor won't work with a CCW rotation...Mark

Any more help on this? I still haven't been able to find anything. Looks like it changed out to a Sanden 7702 at some point but that number is no good anymore...

Call omega in Dallas- they are the wholesale distributor for Sanden. Been a couple of years- but I purchased a new one from them.
