fuel pin leak fixed then starts different
I had the fuel pin leaking so went to my local injection shop got the o-ring for the pin as well as for the throttle shaft, install was simple, I made sure the throttle shaft was index correct. The truck runs great, has more boost and throttle response.
Now the funny part, when you start it, it no longer fires on the first turn like it always has. It seems to turn over a lot faster and it will spin 3 or 4 times before it starts, it almost sounds like a p-pump motor. I've taken the top back off to see if I did something wrong, but I see nothing obvious .... anybody ever have this happen?

A little update here.. Captain Obvious here must have had the wife's glasses on, took the top back off again and low and behold when I put the pin and spring for the top hat back on I put the cup washer on the wrong side of the lever, I had it on the same side as the governor spring instead of doing it the right way (pin, spring, cup washer then put it thru the lever then connect the governor spring) so now it fires as soon as it turns over and runs like it always did.
So now the funny part, while it did not fire off on the first crank as all ve pumps do it actually seemed to run better when I had the cup washer on the wrong side of the pin, it boosted faster and ran considerably cooler on the pyro and just all around felt quicker.
Has anyone else ever done this?
