That's what my wife keeps saying about my truck, that it's a hobby. Personally, I like working on that or most anything mechanical because it keeps the hand skills sharp. Reasoning skills, all that.

The whole bar thing and chasing girls, well, that doesn't work for my wife as an excuse, cause her answer to that was that I wasn't that way when she married me, nor do I plop my butt in front of the boob tube, so I can't use that excuse, either.

I do throw out the fact that wrenching keeps the mechanical mindset sharp, which simplifies me wrenching on her car, and in the end saves us money. That seems to work.

Can you imagine being married to a wife that says this: you say " honey, I think we need to simmer down on our expenditures for the next two months, if we want new furniture"
She says " oh, no, not till that engine gets rebuilt, no way. Did you get off your butt and order the snap on tools we're gonna need? What about the engine hoist? What are you waiting for?!!!"

I'm to old for that. I let them chase me until the best one caught me.

Problem is, after they catch us at end of chase, we're all out of breath. Not too attractive in a woman's eyes, unless it happened to be Roseanne.

Just got back from Lone Pine. Pulled in about 9:30 pm Sunday.

We had a pretty good time. We watched a lot of old movies and attended a couple of panel discussions. We spent the night in a small tent in the Tuttle campground. The air mattress is about done for. What a pain trying to move around on it. We were plenty warm in our sleeping bags though.

My biggest complaint was the seats in the auditorium of the high school where the films were shown. They were so uncomfortable on my sensitive tush.

The parade was not as good as the ones in the past. I got lots of pics of the parade if anyone's interested.

I will pull the truck in the garage tomorrow and see if I can pinpoint the leak.
