Lost rt., front ball joint, tore-up upper"A" frame, found doner trk. the front springs have rubber pads top& bottom( my 91.5 d250 don't) want to use doner springs as well as "A" frames, also doner springs are not tapered on the top ends, doner is a 92 d250 2wd ,whats w/ the rubber pads??? The spring not being not tapered, will they still work ok,???

Looks like i'll reply myself; went back to one of the doner trks.,d350 93 mod., the rubbers are on top& bottom of the coil springs,, maybe to keep the springs from squeaking or poping,,,,,,,,,anyone,,,,,??

 

I think they are to limit squeaking. If it's a d350 it should have the heavier front end regardless of engine and work in your truck.

 

Hey user, i have one side in, w/ the rubber on them the other side tomorrow, would of had both sides...but lower"A" had worn bushings on left, the springs are out of a 93 d350 ,will let you know if all works out.
