Front inner axle seals?
Does anyone have part numbers for the inner axle seals? Also do the install from the inside of the housing? Or do you install them from the axle tube side?

Installed from inside the axle, special tool needed. You could possibly fabricate tool with all thread rod, nuts and large flat washers. Seal is then pulled into housing from inside until seal bottoms in bore.

Ok so im a little confused I guess, can you not just tap the seals in the the inside of the housing where the gear set is? I have a arbor and different attatchments for different size seals. To tap them in with a hammer. I have the gear set and all the axle shafs out.

The room for a hammer inside the center section leaves very little room to apply much driving force.
If you can get outside of the housing with the hammer it is easyer to drive the seal in.

Ahh ok I see, alot less confused now! I will see what I can do tonight, thanks for the help! Also when getting the old ones out did you just use a long pipe and go from the kingpin side of the tubes and pound them out?

I just used the 3' long- 1/2" to 3/8' drive extension I have. For driving out. Anything long enough will work.
