Is there any company that makes the front hitch for our trucks? I looked at the major hitch companies but can not find any. They are nice to use when backing hay wagons and trailers in tight spaces. Thanks

 

my grandpa's 65 dodge had a hitch receiver on the front. I used it a few times with boat trailers and so forth. It was just a piece of the right size of square tubing welded to the frame..

 

Used or homemade I think are your only choices. I think some of the super duty aftermarket bumpers have them. I would love to have one. I have been thinking about making one.

i work at a auto parts store ive been looking every where for them and i cant find one i dont think they make em any more

 

I highly doubt anyone is making one anymore for these older trucks. There's a pic of one on my 93 RamCharger that was on it when I bought it in my photo album. Nothing more than 2 pieces of channel with a receiver welded to it.

 

I made one for my other truck and i have HAD to use it several times to get trailers into really tight spots and it is really nice to have. I am gonna integrate one into the bumper on my cummins.
