Front bumper?
Sorry to see that Douglas, ...any frame or grill damage? , ... we have a lot of deer around here too and I've been using those little "whistles" that you stick on to catch air flow. I still see deer but they are invariably off to the side or running well ahead. If I get a deer guard I'll make sure it either hinges out of the way or removes easily since I rely on the bumper as a step to get my mud hooks into the engine bay.
Have you checked mine out? See it here (made by ali-arc):

hey ppiggppenn,
I didn't do too much to the main grill, and the fender got pushed back enough to nearly eliminate the gap at the door. I don't think it hurt the frame enough( if any) to worry about. It still steers straight and it didn't lose any R12 either...
I will get some of those whistles.
That ali-arc looks just like what I want; clean but tough enough to stop a hard hit that would otherwise wreck the heat exchangers.
cheers,
Douglas
