Frame Cracking
1993 w350 4x4 4" exhuast, LED lIghts, Power Pin, 16CM Turbine housing, pyro, boost, and trans temp gauges
Frame has craked in the top flange behind the steering box. Is there an easy fix or am I looking at fish-plating it

Clean it, weld it, grind it, paint it and add one of these ;

The frame on my 1/2 ton had a lot of cracks. I welded them up and added the bracket mentioned above. Found mine in the JY though, didn't know they were being reproduced, price seems reasonable too.
I had a welder fabricate that re-enforcement for me when my frame cracked on my 91 in the same location. After about 8 months it ripped the cross member out. 6 inch lift w/crossover steering and 32's.
Eventually we ended up plating it up, side and bottom and it is still holding fine.
