Fluid dampr?
Anyone running one of these on a 1st gen, worth the $$$?

Do a search....there was a thread on it a few weeks ago but cant remember what it said.

I put one on my 96 and realy like it it is smoothe and has make things a little quieter.

The only fluid dampr i have seen for 12v is for 91.5+ but what about us that have an earlier version?

I run a Fluidampnr and find it worthwhile albeit expensive. Definitely smooths things at idle as well as wound up.
The Fluidampnr type is a stock/OEM item on certain industrial applications as well as the marine engine. :) |
Are ALL marine applications using the fluid damper???

Just curious, what does a stock Cummins dampner cost versus a Fluiddampner? I think I'm going to get one after I purchase my DDP Stage IVs

The rubber ring was about to fall out of the front and had large chunks missing on the rear. The alignment marks on the 2 halves had slipped just a little.

I want one! They are standard issue on racing vehicles.
