Hey I've noticed when turning right over bumps that my truck makes a scraping sound on the right side near the middle. I haven't been able to get anybody to check it out and see what It's hitting but I was wondering if this is a common thing? I have a 4" diamondeye btw which i think is what's scraping.
If its happened a few times already, you should be able to look for a shiny spot for where the tire or what have you was rubbing.....
My old ford had a 2" polished strip on the radius arms from where the tires would rub.

I'm not sure who says that, but I have never been aware of any flex, at all. Maybe your body mounts are shot...Mark
I've seen lots of first gens where the box corners hit the cab, I had to fix my '93 when I painted it. That being said it doesn't occur in daily driving but when off road or in a situation where the frame is flexing (one front wheel up opposite rear wheel down sort of thing).

I don't think the frame will flex enough on 91 up for the bed and cab to hit. 89-91 had a little less frame and might. I promiss a 1/2 ton will hit. That said the cab dimples from that are a good indicator the trucks been beat up offroad even in a 1/2 and should never happen in normal driving.
