Is the power screw O-ring square or has it just been squished for years?

Yup all the new O-rings in the DGK-121 are round. But I know what you mean about them changing shape....kind of weird how they do that.

Yeah It sure is square now.And has absolutely no resistance going in and coming out. I was going to change it when I had the top off the pump but got distracted when I lost the spring.

I found a new O-ring in my metric parts drawer. There was a bag with 9 of them just the right size.
I got the screw in now to see what else leaks

This is my first time taking the pump off. It isn't bad just sort of a Pain.
It seeped up there a while back then quit. I guess sitting longer did it in.
It is a pretty easy fix though.

Got that one replaced too. Now to put it all back together. Again These trucks are sooo easy to work on aside from balancing on a milk crate to reach everything

I'm 6'2" and I have a hard time reaching stuff. I use a metal step stool since my milk crate broke under the strain.

I'm 6'8" and I still need the help of a milk crate to reach a bunch of stuff since the 4wd conversion and the approx 1.5"-2" lift in the truck.

A buddy of mine gave me this goofy plastic step stool/toolbox with a 20 ft extension cord built into the side. I don't keep tools in it but it is just about perfect for standing on and working in the engine bay. I'm 5'11". Less painful on the feet than a step ladder. I'll post pics or get the name of it tomorrow or the next day. I'm pretty sure its going to live in the truck once it's on the road.

After we move I am going to build a couple benches one for each side or side/front.Then there will be one to carry for my wife or get in and out of the truck.
