Thanks, I was dyin' to know......Mark Around here we have circle k's, a convenience store, whose sign is a big "k" inside a circle, like a cattle brand. One time a friend from Chicago said "I'm goin' over to the big K". We died laughing, but I always thought they were everywhere...

That truck is BEAUTIFUL...it would be awesome..especially with the 5 spd....and I must agree on the tumbs up. Always give the other driver a head nod or thumbs up after gawking at their truck while we pass each other

bill-d-c I hear you about having your eyes out for them always. I do it too!
DHT anyone I have with me or that I am with tells me I can see them from a mile away also, if they are parked in a parking lot or in someones driveway or on the road I will see them!
1STGENFARMBOY and bill-d-c I am the one that started the sickness you can tell because of all the 1st gen pics I have LOL!!!
ChrisLib everyone that is with me or that I am with gives me a head shake/eye roll most of the time hopefully I will get them to start looking at 1st gens.
Crossy's son Thanks for the idea of putting notes on 1st gens hopefully when I do it it will not rain LOL!
MARF75 Same here They are conversation pieces! Even non 1st genners approach me also. Especally in the winter when I have my 9'2" Boss plow on my truck everyone says that with the plow on my truck it just makes my truck look so tough!!!
93-12Smoke I've been the victim several times of other dodge owners slow rolling by me on the highway checking out the ol truck. I've also been guilty of spotting a 1st gen ahead of me and catching up to check it out. Same here!
slatemd I do the same when I have my girlfriend in my truck I love watching her impressive twins dance so nicely and I would purposely hit speed bumps and go through pot holes any chance I can!!!
NJTman Sometimes stopping another 1st genner pays off. Thats why I try to talk to all the 1st gen owners!
I awalys give all the 1st gen owners a wave or a thumbs up. And when I do talk to other 1st gen owners we usually talk for at least a 30 min or more. You guys are not the only ones that do these things LOL!

Was at a local diesel shop.... where the unfortunately don't sell any "fuel injection parts"..... I guess I won't be going there too often, no ?
When this pulled up.....
The dude driving it didn't own it, as it was a local company's work truck. Cool seeing it though

That is cool that there's a company still running a 1st gen cummins, i can only imagine how much money they've dumped into it over the years if it's the kind of company that wants every thing 100%, bet it's always had good brakes and steering.
More and more 1st gens are showing up in my area, but they're owned by young kids like myself. The other day I saw a lifted sliver one coming at me as i was coming out of a circle on Rt.40 with CUMMINS on the windshield, it was raining so i let my rear end whip out a little bit with about 1/2 throttle and he gave me the "hang 10" out the window with his fingers and a little smoke, i gave him a wave and haven't seen him since.

NJTman, alot of injection shops are like that. Most of the time you gotta soften them up and make them realize you have cash and you know what you want. If they still don't oblige, screw em'!

Around me within under a mile of my house there is my dually, a gray and black d350 single cab dually non/IC, a maroon w350 ext cab dually IC, a white d350 ext cab dually IC, a silver and white w250 single cab IC, and I see a non/IC brown and tan w250 single cab driving around every so often by my house and a white ext cab w250 flatbed IC, but not sure if those 2 live by me or just drive this way.

I don't see many around Los Angeles, but Northern California is full of 'em. I've had a lot of people come up and talk to me about my truck, since it's been in the magazine a bunch, but they always seem surprised to see me actually driving it. When I ran 13.1@118mph at the track, I got a lot of looks for the "top end." Actually had a few Pro Mod and Outlaw 10.5 guys talk to me about the truck for a bit. They said they were surprised to see an old diesel go so fast.

Yeah I've seen a few nice ones out towards Morgan area. I moved to Sunset now and saw that all these nice 1st gens lived by me. In Ogden I only saw a few of them on a regular basis. When I lived out in Hooper there was quite a few, I can think of 5 off the top of my head not including a farmer that has at least four running 4wd 1st gens sitting behind his house.
