finally finished the paint job
finally finished the paint job
I finally got my truck re-assembled after getting it back from the paint shop.
Took it in to get just the roof rust repaired, ended up getting the whole truck repainted.
I mad a few small changes to the look,
-new roof skin installed
-cab corners repaired/reinforced
-cargo light deleted
-stake pockets on the box filled
-mouldings deleted
- underhood areas as well as door jambs repainted
-replaced sliding rear glass with the std non opening type

Yes, I have two trucks.
The white unit is a 91 and the blue one is a 91.5
I no longer needed two trucks for my garden center/ greenhouse business so I retired the white one. It was the first "new" vehicle I ever bought.
The blue truck is still in farm service.
The white truck got the restoration and the blue truck got the bombing goodies.
Forgot to mention it before, another change on the white truck was swapping
the old bumper for a new chrome bumper without the black thing on top.

If I remember correctly the roof skin was about $400
The problem was the labor, it was a major job to replace it.
I think the bodyman spent at least three days on the roof alone.
