fall brawl numbers and opinions welcomed

so i got the truck back on the dyno today with the 518.....needless to say we gotta work some of the bugs out. i made 236 hp...SAME AS the sping dyno. but my torque was up , i made 515ft lbs and the trannys runnin about 74% . but through all the aggrivation i met a nice gentleman who gave me some great starting points to take the trans to the tranny shop (a pride hit seein as how i built the trans myself and and it doesnt work just right). hopefully we will get her straightened out after this plague of small nit picking issues. but all and all im happy with her just gotta dial it in..... on a side note fuel screw needs more turnin.... and we gonna need us some upgrades. helpful hints are appreciated

300+ horsepower for spring fling 2010 is the new goal

im not getting enough gov pressure. im maxing out at 32psi. the guy tim i met said check my main line pressure if its good i could be the return tubes from the gov to the valve body not seated right and duping fluid into the pan or a gov weight hanging up or the seals... it could be a good bit. thetruk feels really doggish now.

gotta rebuild my rear then onto bigturbo and possibly a cooler. i dont tow so idk if an intercooler would be a mod for max benefit to money

I/c would drop your egt's and save you from having to upgrade your turbo right away... Cooler temps= add more fuel= more power

Dave doesn't tow and look he jammed that big Powerstroke cooler in there

i see. I would really try to limit how much you drive it like that. It will be really hard on the clutches with only that much pressure. Its dog is because things are slipping. On a side note give me a call sometime when you get a chance.

So you have a 26% slip rate? There's another 30 hp or so if you get that to a reasonable level.

CFarmer laid down 310/615 today to win the 1st gen class. He is shooting for 400 by Spring Fling.

Nick, KTPauley has your trophy - it's only about 2 feet tall instead of the 3 footer Charles took home.

I think I'm gonna have Lloyd do the "ghetto NOS kit" on mine this spring - Andy's truck picked up about 200 WHP from it today.

Ghetto NOS kit as in hold the bottle sideways, open the valve and spray it into your turbo ????
