exhaust/stack question...
exhaust/stack question...
ok, so many many many people have told my that my truck needs stacks, or at least a single stack. i use the bed of my truck a lot, and right now have a tool box that takes up all the space from the front of the bed almost to the wheel wells, normal under the rails box is 19inches or so mine is 27. i also know that there is a rail under the bed that forces you to move the exhaust farther back in the bed. here is my thought, please tell me if it won't work and why
after looking under the hood of my truck for a long time it looked like if i re routed the AC lines and angled the exhaust towards the passenger side of the truck i could go down on the outside of the frame rail and back (cutting some of the wheel well and or reshaping it) then i could go up in the bedside, 90* through the bedside and 90* up, single stack on the passenger side of the bed... i have access to free tight bend and long bend 4 inch mandrel bent 90s. everything else should be straight pipe, and slight bends could be done on a non-madrel bender just to make stuff fit just right... ok if my explanation made sence.... will it actually work?

Why not run it inside the framerail to and curve it out to the bed and go straight up to the bed, Instead of rerouting all of those line? That is what I did on mine.
The down pipe is stock and then about half-cab it angles out (45 deg or so) goes another foot or so and then goes 90 up to the stack.
