Going to weld this into my downpipe (idea from my Hemi days) and connect it to the two ports I have in the billet tappet cover and put a restricted breather on the fill pipe that I had previously converted to a third breather. I have a fill point on the first valve cover I "borrowed" from my 4BT.
I'm hoping that this will cure my external oiling issues that I have even with a decent size oil separator. If I modulate the vacuum pressure I might get the benefit of reducing ring flutter which will further reduce blow-by at high boost.
Good idea, but may not work. Unless the design of those valves have changed they were exhaust pulse driven like a pump. Post turbo, those pulses may have been broken up and will no longer drive the valve. Also, there is a lot of oil floating around the tappet cover. If you already have a lot of blow by, you could wind up with a bigger mess.

It's actually a completely passive device, one way check valve, that's it. Vacuum is created by the venturi effect of the pipe in the airstream, and it evacuates the crankcase. You have to be careful not to restrict the incoming air too much because it will suck the pan gasket in.
