there are calculator on the internet that can fig this out for you!
But first you need to now what overdrive ratio you have an what gear ratio(axle ratio) you have and how tall your tires are. plug all that in and eather the rpm or the mph and it will give you the ether!

I have 4:10 gear and mine at 55 was about 2000 rpm and 70 was all it would go with a trailer. I was just sitting on the govener(defueled)

then i got a GV overdrive!

2,000rpm @ 65mph, 4.10s, 285s. That feels like the sweet spot, so that's where I normally run it on the highway...

Not sure about the RPM's at 55mph, but at 70mph I turn about 1900 PRM.

1700rpm @ 72mph. 1900rpm @ 80mph and I don't like driving at that speed only for passing. I have yet to get above 2000 rpms in 5th gear no need to go that fast for me. at 55mph I want to say its turning about 1400-1500rpms.

My fastest time down the track was 88 mph. That was at Redding Ca. in june. No traction at all. Front drive line was screwed so I could'nt use 4wd.I was spinning the rears at 80 mph.
