engine removal

engine removal

so the the trans is out so do I need to take the AC pump out was working so I would like to not have to take it out to remove the motor need to change the oil pan gasket so now is the time. thanks ken

Hard to understand what you are asking with the limited use of punctuation.

Are you asking if you can leave the A/C pump that is mounted to the engine connected to the truck when pulling the motor?

Pulling that A/C pump can be tough if it has not been removed in years. The bolts like to break off in the aluminum pump, I have noticed. I bet just removing it in the truck would be a pain.

I have always pulled the motor with the pump on it.
