engine compartment wiring diagrams

hi

i do not have 12 volts at the alternator when i turn the ignition on. just had the alternator rebuilt and an internal regulator to bypass the pcm like the one in the "sticky" installed. can anyone provide me with a scematic of the engine compartment wiring harness? id greatly appreciate it!

It's fed by the ASD relay, which is in turn fed by a fusible link.

This all feeds off of the crank sensor. Check the wiring and gap between the sensor and balancer (.050" IIRC).

awesome! thanks, i dont want to sound electrical illiterate but i have no idea what a fusible link looks like. unfortunately i spent hours meticulously rewrapping the entire harness all nice and neat now i gotta cut all the tape off haha

Follow the leads off of your positive terminal. One runs a short distance then goes into a triangular shaped insulator (commonly referred to as a "duck's foot). Coming out of this are 5-6 wires. These are your fusible links. Look them over for any burnt or "bubbly" spots. Also feel them for soft areas that also indicate a "blown" fusible link.

These are located under the driver's side hood hinge area.
