Electrical problems with the dash lights?
under the dash there is a big white plug or harness that is not connected to anything and i found that one of the prongs was a key on power wire that i cut the wire to and ran for my key on power wire for my cd player and now cd player works but not my dash lights. When i pull the *** for the headlights they come on but not my dash lights. I tried puttin the wire back into the plastic type plug and they still dont come on. If any body could help it would be really apprec.
I know in the "good ol' days" the dash and tail lamps were connected. I dont have a wiring diagram for that rig, but I know Chrysler used Orange for dash lamp wiring for a long time. You really need a wiring diagram to diagnose properly. Otherwise, start where you have power (the switch, etc.) and work your way to the problem.
Yeah the marker lights arent workin either
i still havent checked the fuse for the dash lamps and i did notice where the radio is there is a harness with a orange wire that i did plug into when i was hooking up the radio and then unplugged, maybe i blew the fuse who knows gonna look at it this weekend, Keep comin with the info this is killin me.
