electrical problem
I have a '91 1/2, 3/4 ton that I am having an issue with. Took the truck to shop to have brakes worked on and ended up having to replace the starter. The mechanics claim something shorted out in the fuse box, and now my windows dont work or a/c and heater. When I hit the window button the wait to start and water in fuel lights come one and stay on as long as my finger is on the button. Same thing happens with the ac and heater. There are no blown fuses in the box or any other electrical problems. Has anyone else had this problem and if so what did u do to fix it?
Thanks, Sean

Also look for burned fuse links in the harness between the battery and firewall and loose ground connections.
Ground issues is the most likely problem. The main body ground is on the core support just in front of the battery.
Also look at the fusible links on the fenderwell near the battery. Crispy = bad.
