Electrical issue

Having an electrical issue with my 91 W250. The voltage gauge goes haywire and my headlights, radio light and dash lights will dim and flicker. Does it really bad at night when my headlights are on and when hitting a bump it seems to affect it also. Thought maybe a loose ground but seems like it's more than that. Any ideas?

It could easily could be a bad ground.
Try unbolting any ground wires, scraping where they attach to down to bare metal and re-attaching them. The one on the core support by the battery comes to mind first.
Try cleaning up the battery connections as well.
