I have a Autometer EGT guage and have not had any problems. You might want to check all power and ground connections just to make sure they are all tight.

I never had a problem with anything autometer? Check your grounds and make sure they are clean.

Were you the person that couldn't get that much boost out of your truck or am i confusing you with someone else? If that was you, that might be why your egts are staying low because if your not putting fuel to the fire its not gonna get to hot.

If I remember correctly mine had the 2 probe lugs and also a + & - lug. Its been awhile since I put it in but I will try to find the paperwork in the morning.

Two wire pyrometers are purely mechanical and most accurate.

Remove and examine your probe, as they can go bad, have a tip dis-entegrate, etc.

Probes can be purchased by themselves and don't have to come from Autometer, so long as they are the correct range, "K" I think.
