Educate me PLEASE

Which wire do I need to ground out to MAKE the tranny shift into OD. I hear talk of this magical wire but havent ever seen a pic or a good description of it yet.

Any help would be much appreciated.

With the key on one of the two wires at the trans should have power the other one goes to ground to engage od.
