Looks like it's been sitting outside quite awhile. I'd guess somebody got in a little over their head.

Talk about a project! Hope somebody has some skills and time.

That is a weird looking B series. Maybe it's an industrial version?

Looks kind of like the one I was talking about in a bulldozer.

Looks like it, has an air pump where our vacuum/steering pump is located.

awesome idea, but man what a task to finish that job. Especially since someone else started it.

Yeah, but it would be cool when it was done.[guitar]

The alternator looks like a Motorcraft/Ford unit.

I would like to know how he put 15,000 on the engine/transmission in that truck.

I don't think that truck has moved under the power of that engine.

I wish it was reasonable close to me; it will most likely be a bargain.

Of course, I would be looking to swap that 10-speed to a much better 9-speed.

That truck was for sale earlier this year or late last year, (it's hell gettin old) the buy it now price has dropped considerably from the first auction. I am doing a swap myself, the 2 hardest things to find reasonably priced are that air compressor for the 6bt and the small bell for the road ranger.

farmer0_1 12-13-2006 09:42 AM

if it ran at all with some work it would be a deal , but , i have bought half done work and it left me 5/8 done. takes for ever to find all the bolts and screws and stuff to put body and parts back on.

BearKiller 12-13-2006 06:39 PM

One of those little bitty electric compressors would make more than enough air to shift the RoadRanger, without having that big monster compressor in the way.

Well it just goes to prove the fact that one man's junk is another man's treasure! [duhhh] Click the relisted link and it shows it sold for $4K. [laugh]
I guess I been cooped up to long and really need to get out and get my values recalibrated [duhhh] [duhhh] [duhhh]
