Good question. I'd love to get to the bottom of what is the best combo of pump model slash pump guts to use for a big HP 14mm VE. There was some debate on tdr about whether the new 205 93 model VE was king or one of the early non-ic'd model. Maybe Stomp could get up off his throne and give up some of his R&D.

I had a choice of which style to use when I had my 14mm pump built. I was told to use the 89 pump over a 93 pump and I did. I'm still not sure however because both pumps feel plenty strong.

That's exactly what I need to know, Bill.

I want to build a 14mm pump within the next year or so.

I have a 92. I have turned up the pump and have not had a runaway. It is kinda hard to turn the screw any more so I am relutant to do so. I don't know if the treads are bunged up or it is maxed.

I've seen these custom 14mm pumps mentioned several times. What does a person have to buy to have a shop convert the stock 12mm to 14mm?

You need a 14 mm rotor and head. KTA Cummins (he posts on dieselplace) is the man to get in touch with. I don't know if he has any left.

Thanks Wanna, I couldn't find him on there though. I searched several different ways too. Any other ideas? Thanks
