Well this morning before my commute, I decided to do something about my emergency brake, because it rides on the floor and the light stays on 24/7. So I hooked it up to the brake release and cool! No more brake light! But I came to realize that the speedo didn't work at all, and when I'd push down on the e brake a little bit, the speedo would come back on.. Not so cool. Any thoughts?

 

Must be a ghost in the machine.......

or the speedometer wiring is tangled up with the mechanics of the e-brake, either under dash or under the cab.
