Been a while since I updated this thread. Within the past week I installed a rear bumper. Not having a pick-up frame, I had to drill some holes so I took dimensions from the '91.5 frame and transferred them to the '90 for drilling.

Put a quick polish on the bumpers and wheels.

Then I figured I'd clean up the grill inserts so I roughed them up with some sand paper and gave them a couple of coats of gloss black.

And paint the whole truck and get the box done she looks a bit funny with that space there lol but I guess like any build everything takes time and sadly money and the way it seems to go is if you got the loot you have no time and the opposite

The next step is just that, filling the gap. Once that's taken care of, then I can start thinking about paint. I gotta get the money to do it all thought, as you said.

I won't even say what i think about putting a random color head light bucket in , If it's not gonna match the inserts. don't do it. :yuk:

Now that I see it, black doesn't look bad.
What else I can't figure out is why my headlights don't have even spacing inside the buckets. Almost looks cross-eyed to me
. Unless they're that far out of adjustment, they don't seem like it.

Mine are the same way....one is really close to the outside, and the other is very low. I moved them as much as the small holes in the rad support would allow...but didn't make much difference. Guess I need to drill out the holes a bit so I have more adjustment. I really like them to be centered inside the trim.

Now paint your headlight buckets.
