I don't think you need the upgraded hydro's until yet get to the 3850.

But, yes you can put them in front of the getrag.

Hopefully it won't be long 'til the '89 gets one.

1300 plus shipping for a 3250 and 3600 either with small input or large input directly from Southbend.

OR go to the store and order one for 1100 plus shipping (last i checked a month ago) be sure to call Larry if you do NOT have the upgraded input so he can tell Southbend to build it with the 1 1/4 input.

If I can get a 3250 for just $100 more than the Con-FE then thats the way I'm going.

I wasn't aware of that sale. That is the street dd and a great deal too.

The sled pulling one is what I was talking about, should have clarified.

The deal with the Con Fe according to Peter at Southbend is you have to have the ponys to make it seat correctly or its going to slip. Now if you talk to Dave (wannadiesel) he is running a conFE at 400 HP conservitivly and it runs just fine. Really only for a couple bucks more the DD3250 is the ONLY way to go. It is HUGE! I put one in a truck 2 weeks ago and in between the time it went in and the time we got it, I think we had a couple 12 packs just staring at it and drooling on it!

Thanks guys I was just concerned bout horsepower ablity case right now i got bout 275-300 but I was going to grow on that to bout 400-450 sometime in the future just was figuring I would go big and not have to worry bout whether my clutch is going to hold. But by going this route I know its going to hold and last even though it might be a little bit before I hit my goal. And was concerned bout my hydraulics since they got over 300k miles on them.
