Dropping By To Say Goodbye
Out with the old, In with the new.........
I have sold my 1st gen and bought a 3rd gen 4x4 quad cab 6 speed HO CTD
I want to send a sincere and heartfelt "Thank You" to all of my 1st gen family, you have tought me EVERYTHING I know about Dodge trucks and Cummins engines, helped me out when I was a whits end and pulling my hair out, talked me through mods and answered countless questions. I have gained friendships that will last a lifetime and while in the hospital with my daughter fighting cancer I had something to read and concentrate on during the sleepless nights. I don't make it to DTR very often any more (she is still fighting cancer) but with my new to me 03 CTD I'm sure i'll be lurking on the 3rd gen forum a little more often, anyhow THANK YOU 1st gen folks! it has truly been like being in a really big family and I am forever grateful!

Excellent post Sir! As Administrators, it is always a welcome sight to see posts like yours! Thank you for posting your message to the 1st Gen Crew. You are right that they are VERY helpful to our members. I only hope that our 3rd Gen Members are as helpful with your new truck.
BTW,....CONGRATULATIONS on the new truck!

Thanks brother, I hope you never have to but after 4 years of this fight you learn to deal with it and move forward the best you can, this new truck is part of that moving forward process. My 1st gen has been sitting in the back yard rusting away with a bad transmission for 2 years so I sold it to a guy that's gonna give it the attention it deserves.
