down on power
down on power
so i just go back on taking about 500 pounds worth on engine blocks to the scrap yard and i cam back to get another load i started pulling out and it was down on power. so i stopped let it cool down and started it back up and same thing bty it was poring black smoke on my way home from work last night now there is no smoke at all.
Ok checked all the turbo piping looked to see if there was any play in the turbo shavt but I did notice that it was black as my flat back pipe changed the file filter like 3days ago and was running good now it runs like crap cleans my k and n air filter runs the same and sounds like it is knocking. When your going down the road at say50 egt's are usaly around 400 now there 600-750 and climb. Rapidly. Sorry for the rant have to get the engin running right like 2 months away from my swap into the other truck
thanks shane

I'd toss that K&N filter in the trash and run a stock paper filter. If the compressor wheel was black as you say, you've sucked quite a bit of dirt (and probably oil) through that filter.
If EGTs increased that much, I'd say you're losing boost somewhere. Is it an intercooled or non intercooled truck?
