I just spent the last 30 minutes chatting with a rep from JC. The item number posted by ppiggpenn is for a Ramcharger. I was told this is the one for a truck.

They say there is no complete kit for a crewcab application so I will order 2 of the kits for the regular cab truck and make the second kit work for the rear doors. Sure it will require some cutting and stuff but shouldn't be too bad.

 

Interesting... I was always under the impression that all RC, and dodge pickups between 81-93 had the same doors and fenders.

And I'm so confused. The one that David bought that's now $118.99 will work but it's supposed to be for an RC?
The JC guy said the one that's $139.99 is for our trucks.
And the one that's $94.49 is for an RC?

What...?

 

Yup me too....I'm confused??? I was under the same impressions.

So do I buy the "Correct" one for $22 more or gamble with the RC one for under $100???

 

Well I've been searching for pics of ram chargers and pick ups and I have to say that it sure does appear that the doors are smaller on the ram charger.

The trucks seem to be about 6"?? longer from looking at pics, compared to the RC's. But it also appears that the front doors on a crewcab might be longer then a conventional cab? So maybe the ramcharger and reg cab trucks are the same and the crewcabs are a separate animal??
