do these look bad

These are original cab bushings with over a million miles. Do they look good compared to new or aftermarket? Im wanting to just get thing tightened up a bit in the suspension. Looking to go rear shackle bushings and the frame bushings.

Those bushing look pretty good.
The problem with the aftermarket ones is they are poly and much harder, read much more vibration transferred into the cab.

New cab bushings will not help tighten up the suspension really.
New leaf spring bushing and such could help though.

WOW over a million miles on that ol girl,,,,, I would treat her to a new set of springs and shocks.... definitely 3 leaf parabolics in the front you will love the ride.

Leaf spring bushings and bolts come in two different sizes 1/2 and 5/8 bolts in the Cummins 1st gens.
You really need to pull what you have, find out what you need then order them by size and dimension.
They are out there. I swapped rear spring bushings and shackle last winter when doing my shackle flip on my '91.0 Poncho.

Funny thing is I put new front springs in it a few years ago, ride height and the ride itself was no different. I added air bags in the rear in the mid 90s. Ive done shocks a few times, just using NAPA heavy duty life time replacements. Wore out a few Getrags, and rebuilt the rear end twice I believe. adding the cooler on the trans really helped a lot as weill as using 50weight synthetic gear oil. its on a thermal switch so it comes on automatically at 200 degrees. I dont have a ton of extra cash, but im trying to spruce the ole girl up a bit.
