Do any other brand/model of snowplow mounts come close to fitting our trucks?

Do any other brand/model of snowplow mounts come close to fitting our trucks?

I'm thinking of putting a plow on one of my trucks and am looking for a used setup. First Gen Dodge stuff is somewhat hard to find around here compared to Chevy, Ford, and newer Dodge. My question is, are there any other mount brackets that are close, maybe needing a couple of minor brackets, or to use a different set of holes on an existing bracket? I'd think Western, Meyer etc would like to make stuff to fit multiple applications instead of a completely custom bracket for every make/model. Thanks for any help.

On the Meyer plow that came on my truck it appears that the mount where the plow and pump hook on too is the same for all trucks and they just bolt on adapters to fit an exact truck model. Also there are Oblonged and extra holes on stuff like its for more than one application. Its been a while since I looked at my mount under there but thats what i seem to remember. The stuff is pretty simple and if you were missing a piece that was not avalible you could make it.

Hello Bookshelf,
I have a 92 W250 with a 9' Fisher Blade that has plowed more snow by accident than any Ford or GM ever thought of. go to fishersnowplows.com
Good luck & happy plowing!

I'm in the process of installing the same setup on my truck right now.

I've never seen a sno commander in the Cummins years. My service manual shows a factory installed setup though. I found a local guy that has some older style standard mount western stuff for first gens, I'm probably going to just go with that. My original intent was to do a Meyer or Western unimount style, thats why I was thinking maybe get an entire setup from a newer truck and just replace a few brackets on the mount if I could. Also, I'm looking for someone's posts on here, he had a first gen single wheel truck w/ a flatbed and a plow mount he incorporated into a bumper, it was really sharp. I've tried searching though and can't find it. It was either blue or green.
