It takes more pressure to get a good spray out of the big nozzles. Use 2 or even 3 small ones. You want a mist that will evaporate instantly on contact with the hot air, not droplets.

So youre saying it would be better to go with a pair of 2.3 or 3.9gph injectors and just crank up the pump pressure for additional flow, if needed.

How necessary is the electric solenoid between the pump and injectors? I see that loch recommends it. Could you use like a 25psi check valve instead? Or could you set it up without anything at all?

the solinoid stops the water flow, it remains pressurized a good bit after inj shuts off, this really isnt a problem if you let it cool down, but if your tank isnt a good bit lower siphon effect can happen, its happened before that entire contents of the tank have drained into the engine,,,not good,,,

I paid the bucks for the coolingmist check valve-they guarantee for it not to suck past it-so need for a solenoid! Just another .02 worth!

So should I go with two 3.9gph injectors, in an attempt to duplicate Snows setup? Or smaller injectors? Would there be any benefit to using one large injector?

One more thing, does anyone have a source for the push-lock fittings and line, like the stuff that comes in the snow kit?

Thanks
Try a search for John Guest Fittings. They make fittings for water filtration and use the same type as Snows, but better made in quality and cheaper, also. They carry tubing, also. Carmyne
