I found the northern tool pump that wannadiesel specified at another source for a cheaper price, just thought i would pass it along,

http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-Shurflo-On-Demand-DIAPHRAGM-PUMP-1-8-GPM-60-PSI_W0QQitemZ7540775784QQcategoryZ46547QQrdZ1QQcmd ZViewItem

Loch,
I could not find the pump that you had listed (145psi, 1.8gpm, $110), I was wondering your source for that pump?

I did find this,

http://cgi.ebay.com/Shurflo-12V-Pump-1-8-GPM-100-PSI-8000-Ag-RV-NEW_W0QQitemZ7539580077QQcategoryZ46547QQrdZ1QQcmd ZViewItem

Could this be the 220psi upgrade that Snow sells?

And my last question being, do you even need a higher pressure pump than the one that comes in the standard snow kit that wannadiesel specified? do you even have your pump pressure turned all the way up?

Call them , they can build a pump to your specs, and ask for Art

http://www.shurflo.com/pages/RV/rv_c...automatic.html

ihpower-- the boost switch can be put anywhere, i teed mine into the boost gauge, the switch is instant on, when active the water is wide open,

Wanna and i discussed this in another thread but i'll repeat it, most nozzles need a minimum of 60 psi to atomize the water, but remember the pump has to overcome your boost pressure as well. So if you have 30 psi of boost and need 60 psi for the nozzle you need a minimum of 90 psi pump pressure. And make sure your pump is a bypass not one has a electrical cutoff at a certain pressure, a 100 psi bypass starts bypassing at 100 psi, but may not be in full bypass till 140 or so.

Make sure what ever pump you choose can run dry without damage, hate to fry your pump first time you run out of water.

Hobbs switches are on or off. If you want smooth operation get Snow's controller. That was the main reason I plunked down the $$$ for the kit.

Any source of boost is fine for the Hobbs switch.

The pump I linked to is the pump in the Snow Stage II/220 psi upgrade kit. I do not have it turned up all the way. I have it turned up as far as I can without bogging the motor. I have no idea what kind of pressure that translates to.
